False events

Libris is designed to detect real falls and ignore other events, such as a dropped Libris. For this reason, an end user is not normally able to test Libris, as they would have to really fall.

In some cases, Libris may encounter a scenario that it thinks is a fall but is not. If Libris has reported a fall that didn't happen, please determine the following and Contact Support.

  1. How Libris was being worn on the body
  2. The exact date and time of the fall
  3. What the user was doing at the time of the fall, for example, washing hands or climbing stairs?
  4. How the user fell – for example, was it a fall from a standing position or sitting position, to the ground or another surface?
